Dirty Girl!!!

I originally posted this almost a full year ago. Sept 7, 2012. Now I can tell you, we did it and it was awesome!! Proof:

Dirty Girl MudRun. Breast Cancer Awareness.

It is almost that time again and I”m bummed I won’t be joining my team this year. But I hope to do it again next year!

Here is my original post:
I am so excited! Two of my sisters-in-law and I are on a team to run the Dirty Girl Mud Run in upstate NY tomorrow!! Not only is this empowering, this is also a fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Foundation! Three Cheers for the Ta-Tas!!! And best of all, it is a non-competitive, non timed event. FUN ONLY for the ladies! And in honor/memory of all of those who have fought this terrible disease. Did I mention my mother-in-law is a TWO TIME SURVIVOR???

I am pumped up and terrified! It can’t possibly be as challenging as the obstacle courses I had to complete while in military training, but I’m sure it’s going to be 100 times more fun!

So I’m taking off for the weekend, entrusting my three munchkins to my very capable husband, and jetting up to NY for the weekend!

In preparation for this event, my fingernails are bright pink! I think there will be much muchness for all of us!
