Sometimes you just need one Dose… or many

April 16, 2014 By katbiggie 10 Comments

Probably one of the biggest unexpected rewards of blogging is the friendships that I have developed through it. I can say that almost all of my closest blogging friends were a gift from the SITS girls. Every day I would check to see the featured blogger, and I have become close friends with several I met through this route. To include the Dose Girls, Jennifer, Kerry, Ilene, and our whole tribe.

I have been supported by these women in ways I never imagined. I have met some of them in real life.

blogging friendsThe Dose Girls (Lisa and Ashley), Andrea, Ilene, Me, and a glass of Mirassou wine!

Through our words, we laugh together (if you haven’t been reading the Pinterest Nightmares each Friday on the Dose of Reality, you are missing out!) we cry together, we follow each other on amazing trips (like Jennifer’s recent trip with WaterAid to Nicaragua!) we cry together (mostly from my posts, but Ilene has made me cry too!) and we support each other.

Today, for example, Lisa and Ashley, the Dose of Reality, are sharing my post about the Mother’s Day Campaign and our efforts to raise money for bereaved mothers this mother’s day.

I sure hope you’ll go visit them. And while you are there, check out there Pinterest Nightmares Archives!

I wish I was in that picture!!! I would be in the CENTER of it with my hands up in the air!! ( I know, so selfish of me…!)

Love this kind of love. Those girls are IT.

It’s all good – I’m not upset that you forgot me. Really! I love you anyway…

Of course I did NOT forget my wonderful Chris! In truth, I had about 10 minutes to get this blog written and posted today before the kids got out of bed (spring break) and I actually meant to write a sentence in there about the fact that I want to dedicate a post to ALL of my bloggy tribe, but I forgot in my haste! You rock, and you have been such a fantastic supporter and spreader of all of my efforts to take people’s money! ๐Ÿ™‚ Love you!
