The loss of a baby or child is something a mother never, ever forgets. Please remember all babies who have been lost on the Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, October 15th. Light a candle, change your Facebook profile picture to a burning candle – something, to stand with all mothers who are remembering their baby.
Today I remember Kathryn. My sweet baby girl. Here for just a moment, but forever in my heart.
Today is October 15th. International “Pregnancy and Infant Loss” Remembrance Day.
I thought I would have many words to say.
But turns out I don’t.
This October 15th Please light a candle at 7pm in your time zone to remember all babies who have been lost too soon.
I’ll be remembering many. Kathryn, Britany, Cate, Arabella, Naomi, Evan, Henry, John, Alexander, Brie, and so many others.
We love you and remember you always.
If you know a mother who has recently lost a baby, please consider getting a copy of Sunshine After the Storm: A Survival Guide for the Grieving Mother. Proceeds from this book go toward donating copies to hospitals and bereavement groups.
