Those lyrics are burned into my brain! But it’s ok because my kids are singing about vegetables!
I had to laugh as I popped in a CD the other day, hit play, and as I glanced back, my son was immediately bouncing his head and body to the music. He was engaged and loved the songs. By the time we listened to the CD the second time, he was already singing along with them. From lyrics such as “Okey dokey Artichokey” to “Try one bite! You might like it!” and so forth, the songs on the the CD are entertaining and catchy.
“What is this wonderful CD?” you ask? One I was not familiar with until I was contacted to review it. The group is called Splash ‘N Boots. This group is all the rage in Canada, and after listening to the CD, I understand why. The music is so catchy (totally stuck in my head!!) and the kids think it’s hilarious.
I also had the opportunity to watch and review their most recent DVD “Act 2.” Also loved by the children! It reminded me of a cross between The Wiggles and Sesame Street. The group is a female and a male, singing silly songs and doing silly things. They also incorporate children into the act, who are also very silly and engaging.
The kids laughed, jumped up and danced, sang, and truly enjoy the video! Both my son and my daughter were enthralled, so it is clearly great for both genders.
Best of all, the company has provided an extra copy of the CD and the DVD for a lucky reader, so please enter the contest below and tell your friends!

Also, their latest album was written based on feedback from their fans. The 15 song titles as well as the album’s name were all chosen by their fans via the group’s Facebook page .
Splash’N Boots’ second DVD has also been widely hailed as Saturday Night Live for kids. My kids sure loved the silliness!
