I’m Going to Give you a Little Advice on TIME MANAGEMENT!
Get some!
It’s a skill I seem to be lacking, and mommy brain is only confounding the issue. Maybe it’s not time management skills I lack. Maybe it’s organizational skills. I am balancing three calendars (the hard copy on the wall in which we track family stuff, the phone Calendar App that I put things on when I am out and about, and my Outlook Calendar – which I just need to learn to sync to my phone and at least narrow it down to 2!)
This week was crazy! I over scheduled and did not manage my time well, leading to a near breakdown by the end of the week. I was all over the map this week!
Monday – I took on some activism and brought politics to the blog. I don’t normally do this, but I am very passionate about this topic, and feel like we will never be able to bring about change if we don’t try. We must have our voices heard.
Tuesday – I wrote my post that would actually go live on Wednesday. I had the distinct pleasure of guest posting for Wednesday’s Woman at Sperk. If you don’t know what this series is, you definitely need to check it out here. I took a break from my TTTS Tuesday series because I was busy tweeting and blasting my elected officials about the topic from Monday. TTTS Tuesday will be back next week!
Wednesday – I finally gave a go at something I’ve been wanting to do for awhile, and I made my first vlog! Check it out here. I have enjoyed watching others vlog because I feel like I actually get to know my bloggy friends better!
Thursday – I was the featured contributor at Just.Be.Enough so I linked to my post about support and self confidence called Who Has Your Back. And I gave a shoutout to Janine for bestowing two lovely awards on me!
Friday – I highlighted my wonderful sponsor Wild Bean Vanilla Company. Andrea provided us a recipe for making homemade vanilla extract, and I marveled at the fact that it’s made from Vodka. Sign me up!
Saturday – the 17th installment of the Mom’s Connection went live – this week’s a good one. All about Potty Training tips from the mommas! Since that has to be written by Tuesday, I spent Saturday evening prepping next weeks posts… in an attempt to manage my time better and get better organized.
I’ll let you know how it goes! Thanks to Janine and crew for another great Finish the Sentence Friday!
