Three Cheers for Hippie Chick Granola!

April 29, 2014 By katbiggie 12 Comments

Confession.

I ate four entire bags of Hippie Chick Granola in three days.

Yes I did.

And I am going to do it again… I am quite certain.

Confession number two.

I’m still upset with Ilene that she named the chocolate and pretzel blend after Tamara and not me. But I’ll get over it. After three more bags.

Confession number three.

I lured you in with talk of granola but I really want your MONEY.

(like anyone is surprised about that.)

Confession number 4.

It’s difficult to ask for money.

Everyone is being asked for money from so many different people. I know. I’m asked all the time too.

And I am asking for your help for a VERY good cause.

To support grieving mother’s on International Bereaved Mother’s Day on Sunday May 4th.

We are trying to encourage and bring light and hope to mothers who have experienced the worst… the loss of a pregnancy, infant, or child.

I have a rule. If I have been able to eat out at a fast food restaurant that week, I know that I have at least $5-$10 to donate when I am asked to help a good cause. I ask you to consider the same.

This Mother’s Day, they will be missing their child. But we can try to help them.

All I’m asking is for $5. And I’m giving you something back for that $5. You have the opportunity to win one of more than 16 amazing gifts. Books, jewelry, baby items, and other wonderful things.

International Bereaved Mother's Day Giveaway

Including Granola! Yes, Granola. Because I have a wonderful friend Ilene who just started her own business. Hippie Chick Granola. It is amazing. I ate four bags of it this week. And Ilene is giving away the Hippie Chick Collection (4 big bags!) of granola to one lucky winner. My favorite is Tamara’s Blend. YUM. Ilene has also generously offered a 20% off coupon for all orders placed between now and Sunday 5/4/14. Use the code NHB20OFF at Hippie Chick Granola.

Hippy Chick Granola giveaway for International Bereaved Mother's Day

Hippie Chick Granola

To enter to win this delicious granola, and all of the many other wonderful prizes pictured above, all you have to do is make a $5 donation to our campaign, and you’re IN!

Additionally, for every $10 you donate, you will have the opportunity to personalize the donated book with your loved ones name.

I hope you’ll consider helping us. International Bereaved Mother’s Day is next Sunday, May 4th, and we’d love to make a really nice donation to help out those in need! Incidentally, I have received 8 requests for books through our “Request a free copy” and I am just waiting on the funding through this campaign to be able to fulfill those requests.

With love,

Alexa

Yeah- I was pretty upset that TAMARA got an awesome bag of Granola named after her… it’s probably because she is pretty damn amazing. Blah. 😉

I ate one bag in one sitting…

And derek ate the other one…

And I am half way through Bernice. (Gosh that doesn’t sound good at all)

Can I actually win more? Or maybe I don’t count in this gig. That’s cool. I’m sure Ilene is gonna name something after me someday.

    Sure of it.

    Right Ilene??!!

Well at least I have good vibes from her, so yeah that.

    I’ll take it.

    Damn amazing Tamara…
