TTTS Mom and friends raise a whole lot a money!
So these moms have set the bar REALLY high for the TTTS community! I thought this was a great story, and I wanted to share it. If you are looking for ways to raise money for the Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation, it doesn’t only have to be through walks, runs, or outdoor events. These ladies had a fun night on the town and brought in over 10 GRAND!
The MOMS Club of Middletown-South held a fundraiser this weekend to raise money for the Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS) Foundation. One of their members, Jessie Lauter, lost both of her babies, Talia and Juliana Lauter, to this terrible disease, one that we know so well in this community.
Club vice president Danielle Collins said the fundraiser was designed to raise awareness of the terrible disease.
“When (Moms Club member) Jessie Lauter lost both babies suddenly to this terrible disease, we knew it was important for the club to join together to support our friend and to raise money for the Foundation in her daughters’ memory,” Collins said.
The Mom’s Club had sponsorship from dozens of local businesses, who donated items for a gift basket raffle and helped sponsor in other ways. Over 120 local mothers attended the event.
This is the power of MOMS. We can make a difference, and we do every day.
If you have sponsored an event to raise awareness about TTTS or fundraisers, we’d love to share your story! Please email me at katbiggie1@gmail.com with all the details and some photos!
