Gluten & Allergen Free Event
I am really excited to be on the blogger team for the upcoming Charlotte NC Gluten & Allergen Free Wellness Event.
My dad has celiac disease and I have a gluten intolerance, which is why I started experimenting with gluten free foods a couple years ago, and made the switch to entirely gluten free diet about three months ago.
When my dad was first diagnosed with #Celiac back in 2007, the choices of snacks and pre-made foods – pastas, crackers, and so forth – were far and few between, and quite honestly, tasted like saw dust.
These days, however, there is a much larger market. Finally those with Celiac and gluten sensitivity/intolerance and other food allergies can eat some of the items we miss – and actually enjoy them!
I will be attending the Gluten & Allergen Free Event #GFAEvent in Charlotte, NC on Saturday March 21, 2015 from 10 am – 4 pm.
