For Love of Kathryn

I just made my first donation of Teeny Tiny Diapers to Teeny Tears.  What an amazing project this is!  Teeny Tears is a service organization that makes tiny diapers for preemies that are stillborn or die shortly after birth, because most of them are too small for even the smallest diapers.  Find out more at:

teeny tears

This was quite the project!  But it brought so much healing to me, and it gives me great comfort to know that we will potentially help another family who suffers the way we did… by providing this simple token of our love.

The diapers are really so very small!  These are pictures of the teeniest.

Thanks to the ladies at my church nursery who donated material for about 96 of the larger diapers, traced, and cut out the material so that I can sew the diapers!  My first batch was small, but I will continue to sew, sew, sew!

Here is the final product.  My 22 diapers – 11 sets of 2.  One diaper is provided to put on the baby, and the other diaper is for the Memory Box.

Thank you Megan for creating this amazing organization and for allowing me to be a part of it!!!
