Today is Giving Tuesday
You can help WaterAid double their contributions by making a donation today. A WaterAid supporter challenged WaterAid and all of its supporters to raise $50,000 by today, #GivingTuesday. If we make that goal, every penny of the $50,000 will be matched!
I have written about WaterAid before and why I believe this is such an important cause to support. We live in a country where clean water is never even a consideration for most of us. We have access to drinking water that won’t kill us. We have running water for showers and baths and laundry… even watering our yards and washing our cars. Some countries cannot even provide potable water.
Some people have to travel miles for fresh water.
Can you imagine having to do that to provide fresh drinking water for your children? Me either.
A Child Dies Every 40 SECONDS from a water related disease!
You can send a check dated December 3 and payable to WaterAid to WaterAid, 315 Madison Avenue, Suite 2301, New York, NY 10017
OR you can donate easily and quickly online to WaterAid here at Giving Tuesday.
What will your gift do?
Your gift helps us bring our 30 years of expertise to disadvantaged communities that need the ‘know-how’ and equipment to set up, operate and maintain their water and toilet facilities for the long-term. You can visit WaterAid to watch a video on how they do this.
“Give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he’ll have food for a lifetime.”
I hope you’ll join me and Another Jennifer in this totally worthy cause!
