Yes! That is really a thing!
And it’s a wonderful product! I was given a sample bar of Mixed Flower Soap from the lovely ladies from Fields of Gold when I attended the Charlotte Gluten & Allergen Free event.
I had no idea there was even such a thing as Gold Dusted Fresh Made Goat Milk Soap, or goat milk soap at all. But, there is! And it is wonderful. I give it an A++.
So what makes it so great? Beyond the great smell, the great lather, and the super feel?
These soaps contain vitamins A, D, C, B1, B6, B12, and E. The bars contain fresh goat milk, olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, illepe butter, almond oil, essential oils and some other special goodies to make them just wonderful. Since they are made from organic vegetable oils and butters it also washes off easily, but it still lathers up really nicely.
Since I’ve started using the bar of Mixed Flower soap (which is brushed with 24 carat culinary gold dust that is supposed to re-energize you!) I have not had to use moisturizer on my skin. My skin is soft and feels lovely. Now, this is coming from someone who has chronically dry skin because of my thyroid disease.
Goat milk soap is like a little bit of heaven on your skin. According to the claims of Fields of Gold, this soap delays aging, heals skin problems, it is anti-inflammatory, and most importantly, it is chemical free. I can say that it does feel luxurious.
And talking about cute little goats reminds me of this video, which makes me giggle every time I watch it. I can’t get enough of Benjamin the Pygmy goat!
