Lose the Cape Again! #Losethecape #LikeABoss #BossMom

December 8, 2015 by katbiggie 2 Comments

Hm… I have never used 3 hashtags in my title! That was fun! It’s a FUN day! First of all, I haven’t been blogging much over the past couple months. That has to do with a few things. I have had some ups and downs in my personal life, but I’ve also been waist deep in editing, self-publishing, and marketing a NEW BOOK! Yes! We are going to Lose the Cape AGAIN! Yep!

More on that below.

I’m also excited to tell you that I’m featured today as a #BossMom! I am the “Boss Mom of the Week!” So exciting! Thanks for featuring me!

And, in other greatly exciting news:

Tomorrow we Lose the Cape Again! It is our BIG LAUNCH DAY for Lose the Cape: Never Will I Ever (and then I had kids!)

Lose the cape again Never Will I Ever

This is the second book in our Lose the Cape! Series! You may recall my friend Kerry and I wrote Lose the Cape: Realities from Busy Modern Moms and Strategies to Survive this spring! We’re back at it – but this time, we’ve brought 31 moms and 1 dad along. They share all those stories of the things they swore they would never do as parents, and wound up doing anyway once they actually had kids! Some of them stuck to it – we have some great stories of significant moments that impacted choices made as parents, and we have some really funny stories that everyone can relate to!

We have a huge favor to ask. We’d love to borrow your social media voice to help us Lose the Cape again!

Tomorrow, December 9th at 2pm EST, Thunderclap will send out FB messages and tweets announcing our launch. Will you be a part of that? It’s quick and easy to sign up HERE:

We appreciate your support! If you’d like to go one step further and help us more, here are some sample tweets and Facebook messages you could share!

Making more than one meal for dinner. Cheese from a can. Messy home. You swore you would never, but … http://amzn.to/1YwUfHo#losethecape

Have you ever judged another parent for letting their kid watch a little too much TV, or for serving mac and cheese five nights a week? You would never … (ha!) and then you had kids. Oh karma! Check out the latest batch of mom authors keeping it real, and letting you know parenthood will rock your world in Never Will I Ever … and Then I Had Kids. http://amzn.to/1YwUfHo #losethecape

What did you swear you would never do as a parent? Gulp … and then you caved. It’s OK – we’ve all been there, and now 31 parents reveal their own “keeping it real moments,” in Never Will I Ever … And Then I Had Kids. A quick, hilarious read just in time for the holidays. http://amzn.to/1OaTKxL #losethecape

The Goodreads link is for reviews and for adding Lose the Cape: Never Will I Ever (and then I had kids!) onto “shelves”–this is super easy and weirdly, hugely important.
