Meltdowns. Moms. Kids. We all have them. I’ve been brought to tears by my kids almost as much as I bring them to tears. It’s usually not pretty.
We do the best that we can, right?
You may recall last year I was included in an anthology called The Mother of All Meltdowns.
In this book we shared our worst meltdowns as mothers. It’s been wildly popular. And now, we want to help moms – many who survive off of coffee – by offering a fun contest leading up to Mother’s Day.
We know many moms would have a complete meltdown without their coffee, so this Mother’s Day, we are giving away a brand new Keurig 2.0! All you have to do is share photos of your meltdowns, what causes them, what soothes them – anything goes!
It could be a photo of the overwhelming stacks of papers that come home from school with your child every day, a shot of your car that everyone uses as a trash can, or of you hiding in the closet from your family eating chocolate. Whatever represents your meltdown is fair game.
Post your image to The Mother of All Meltdowns Facebook page or tweet it to us using the hashtag #MyMotherofAllMeltdowns between April 10 and April 30.
On May 1, the co-authors of The Mother of All Meltdowns (including me!) will choose 3 finalists as a group. Those finalists will be notified via The Mother of All Meltdowns Facebook page and Twitter account. Finalists can promote their pics in order to get likes, retweets, etc. We will announce the winner on May 8.
And if you haven’t heard about or read The Mother of All Meltdowns yet, go see what it’s all about!
Have you had any good meltdowns lately?
