Tweet #politics Because my focus has been on raising my three little ones and everything that comes along with staying home and managing the household, dealing with our loss, and trying to learn as much as I can about TTTS and what I can do to fight it, I have had little time to focus […]
With These Swings I Will Fly!
Inspiration for this post came to me today while I was pushing my EB on the swings. How carefree the world feels as you soar feet first into the sky! EB giggled as I pushed her higher and higher. “Higher mommy! Again, again!” she would cheer! I am delighted that she loves to swing as […]
Wordless Wednesday (well, almost wordless!)
Tweet Just found a new blog to love! Visit her by clicking the icon below! Sherry had this posted on her blog, which made me laugh because it is so true… at about 3pm every day, I really do start thinking about my morning cup of coffee!!!
Kathryn
Tweet I have added a new page to the blog – “Kathryn’s Story.” It’s really Kathryn and Tiny’s story, but it is all about the progression of our pregnancy, the TTTS, and the process that we went through. That little baby was a fighter!!!

Yep, you guessed it! ME!!! Have you ever seen a scene in a movie or a cartoon where there is a robot that is getting way overloaded with information and his head starts steaming and vibrating and spinning and eventually explodes? That is how I feel some of these days. Wound up tight… rubber band […]
Happy Father's Day!
It’s been a crazy few days and although I had hoped to post every day, life just gets in the way sometimes! I am happy to say that today felt like a normal day. Other than a brief moment of sadness when I gave my husband his Father’s day gifts, (which included some pics of […]

I am TI-RED peeps!
Do you ever feel like you are trying to hold the weight of the world on your shoulders?? I feel that way today. It feels like there will never be a day when my life is organized and not chaotic, when I might actually be able to manage my many roles – mother, wife, cook, […]
Half Birthday
My surviving twin is 6 months old today. Happy 1/2 Birthday sweet pea. I love you so much, and know that your guardian angel sister is giggling up in heaven. Daisies are the official flower of the Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS) foundation, so I ordered us a beautiful bouquet.
Laughter truly is the best medicine!
I went to a double baby shower last night… for two of the ladies in the mom’s club that are both having baby boys in August. Surprisingly, I was not bothered by going to a baby shower, so at least that is one hurdle I’ve jumped! And I’m really glad that I went. We had […]
Moving On…
In just a few short days it will be six months since my identical twin daughters were born, followed two days after by the death of one of my girls. I have been considering beginning a blog since I was pregnant and first received the news about the syndrome my babies suffered from, as well […]
