Wordless Wednesday

April 3, 2013 by katbiggie 12 Comments

Wordless Wednesday the whole month of April is going to be dedicated to my son, Nayner Bug.

Because he is my firstborn.

Because I love him.

Because he is turning 6.

Where has the time gone??

Nayner Bug on his 4th Birthday at a church fun day. We got to meet some cool Gamecocks, including Kenny Miles, Marcus Lattimore and TJ Johnson (pictured!)

Seems like in the blink of an eye he has gone from baby boy to big boy… and it won’t be long before he is heading off to play for the Gamecocks! 🙂

Do you attempt to brain wash your kids into participating in a certain activity or liking something you like? I used to think it would be awesome to have my son play football, and then I saw Marcus Lattimore get a near career ending hit. It was ugly. I cried. You can read that post here.

So cute! And I may have mentioned that my husband and I would only pay for college if my sons went to Syracuse. Maybe. I can’t confirm that.

Hahahahaha. Yes, I know how that is! Last year our son decided he was a Clemson fan! (boo hiss!) But we decided to just go with it. Some days he likes the Gamecocks, some days the Tigers, but I’m sure as he gets older, he’ll come around!

I’m a little worried about my son getting into sports because of the mentality of some of the players I know. Just because you are good at sports doesn’t make you a better person, being a better and kinder person does.

That being said physical activity is a must.
