If I could bottle that energy…

February 3, 2014 By katbiggie 18 Comments

My Tiny… she may have started out slow due to her premature birth due to Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome, but the child is sure not short on energy now! If only I could bottle that energy, cause goodness knows, I need some MORE of it!

And of course, this is the morning after the super bowl in which I may have drunk a bit too much, the kids were up too late, and everyone is groggy and crabby… except this munchkin!

Every day she reminds me how precious her life is, and I am constantly reminded that she was almost NOT here.

So, my agenda is two fold with this post. One, to share my precious child, cause that’s what we proud mommas love to do. And two, to put in my monthly plug for our March for Babies TEam, Team Charis and Kat. It is largely due to the innovations in neonatal care, brought to us by the efforts, research, funding, and training possible by YOUR donations, that helped my Tiny survive after she was born a #supermicropreemie at 1lb 10oz, ten weeks early.

So, if you’d like to help OTHER mothers have happy outcomes as well (in addition to so many other fantastic things the MOD does) I’d love it if you’d donate to Team Charis and Kat!

And here’s what your money went to last year:

It absolutely wasn’t her fault. And truthfully, she brightened the dreary morning!
